tale of two .c i t i e s
Kosiri The first side of the city you come to is the human side of the city, elegantly named Kosiri. This side of the city is large and comfortable, paved walkways, gardens being the dazzling scenery gracing anyone who comes into this city. A few alleys are charred, a few houses burnt down, a few misfits here and there from the tension with the animals, but the city works hard and well at disguising its relation with Emmer, the other side of the city. In the center of Korisi, a huge willow tree stands in the center of the town square, where gatherings are held, protests are shouted, and lovers walk in the moonlight. Moderator: F U Z Z Y
Emmer The side of city where corruption and destruction is its core, Emmer is the animal side of the city. Emmer was almost completely destroyed by the humans and the riots taken place. The pathways are cracked and many homes are burnt or complete rubbish. during the day, this side of the city looks almost completely deserted; largely because it is mostly abandoned anyway. At night, however, a few animals are seen lurking in the shadows, watching warily for humans, ready to punish trespassers. Moderator: F U Z Z Y
The Beach the beach is the first of the neutral lands, though at times it is not considered neutral at all. the humans often dominate this land, especially during the warmer seasons. the beach is long and sloping, with a calm tide at almost all times. the beach is isolated from all other areas of Adun Torridos, and is the farthest stretch to the south of the land. however, the tension at the beach is constant, and riots and confrontations are held at its waters. the beach is the most violence-ridden land of Adun Torridos for it's fight to remain neutral. Aesis Lake the gathering lands of the animals is the lake known as Aesis Lake. this land is quiet, with the winds always low and the forests surround the lake. in the morning, a thick fog falls over the lake, which is one of the thing it's famous for. also, in the winter, when the lake freezes over, it is a common spot for ice skating. that is the only time that humans are allowed to enter Aesis Lake. at any other time, punishment will be given to all those found trespassing. The Mall the one place every human species is known for gathering: the Mall. this is an extravagant hang out place, strips of every kind of shops imaginable can be found here. the Mall is 3 levels, the food court in the center of the entire mall, the clothes shops on the third floor, and the every day supplies on the first floor. you name it- they have it. in the west wing on the second floor, a decent sized movie theater is located, where all the new movies are out to be watched, adored, and hated. The Graveyard the first of the two neutral lands is the graveyard. the graveyard is surrounded by old, rusted fencing, the gate long since broken into and was never fixed, so it is accessible at all times of the day, every day. many of the graves had faded past being legible, and many more have been destroyed. rubble is strewn across the paths, and weeds grow over everything. the trees are either dead or dying. the path that winds around the graveyard is a simple, gravel and dirt path, though overgrown with weeds, it has almost completely disappeared by now. The Valley the valley is the only neutral zone in all of Adun Torridos that remains safe from the havoc going on. the trees still grow strong and the river that winds through the woods still flows with clean water. the spring, summer, and fall months are exceptionally beautiful here, and the winter is just as calming. small wildlife thrive here. the valley is a common place for those seek refuge from the violence. multiple cabins are scattered about, all of them abandoned long ago, and unoccupied to this day. Eastern Forest the eastern forest is the furthest east boundary of all of Adun Torridos. this forest is sparce and cut back due to industrialization of Kosiri. this forest holds only small game who hide away from the western forest. abandoned cabins are abundant in this forest, as well as small streams and ponds scattered about. the forest is carefully watched over by Kosiri. the eastern forest is a common camping grounds and hunting grounds, as well as a relaxation spot for humans. animals found there, beware. one of the security workers will surely find you lurking about. Western Forest the western forest is the farthest west boundary of all of Adun Torridos. none dare to venture beyond this forest, and few even dare to enter the shadowy depths of this forest. shadows loom over every tree at all times of day, a blanket of moss taking the place of grass. in the spring time, however, many different kinds of flowers bloom into a blanket of color. the sun almost never breaks through the forest's canopy, and for the same reason, neither does water, making it a quick refuge place in times of crisis. though its menacing appearance drive humans away, animals thrive here, living at peace beyond the darkness, in the deep unknown.
